And then, after it was over, I saw this...

but it wasn't a riot. It was a bunch of police officers who were about to tear gas all of us in the streets. Until we switched from chanting "Yes We Can" to "NYPD". They then joined us. And we were all happy. This was one of the greatest days of my life... I couldn't stop smiling for days.

Boy. A year ago was great.

I want health care.

I did this...

But I wasn't Dawson from Dawson's Creek. But I was absolutely crying. Like a baby.

I drank this...

Or at least one similar. I don't think it was that color.

I saw this...

And more than that... I waited with bated breath for this. I couldn't sleep the night before... I couldn't think at work. All I wanted to see was this map. And this map alone.

I was like a nerdy kid who was getting an election result as his present at christmas... or a choo-choo. I'd also go with a choo-choo.

I walked to this...

In the morning I woke up an hour early and walked to the local elementary school. Huge lines. People were so fucking excited... and it didn't matter. We all knew who was voting in this school in bedstuy. The only people who live there are Obama supporters. McCain taking BedStuy was going to be the equivalent of Stalin taking Texas.

But I went anyway... and I loved it.
